WE'RE MOVING
TO MARYLAND!
On Wednesday,
August 1st, Bryan was called as the next Minister of Worship and
Music at the First Baptist Church of Laurel, Maryland. This was the
fruition of several weeks of much prayer, interviewing, and traveling.
The call came with an overwhelming majority from the congregation at
FBC Laurel. We are very excited about relocating to our new home and
start a brand new life. |

Laurel is
located between Baltimore and Washington, DC. It began as a small
mill town on US Route 1 and has grown into a densely populated suburb
of both Baltimore and DC. The church is currently located a few
blocks from Laurel's historical Main Street. Within a few years
though, the church will be moving a few miles down the road to a new
and larger complex in order to provide enough space for everyone.
Currently, the worship center pictured above will only hold about 250
people. The church has to hold three Sunday morning services in order
to accommodate the average amount of 450 people who are coming to the
church. The new property for the church is located in the southeast
quadrant of I-95 and Hwy 198.
We have already
begun the packing process. The moving company will load us up on
Friday, August 10 and we will drive to Georgia on the 11th to spend
some time with Bryan's family. We were originally going to move into
an apartment on the 15th, but now we have learned that construction
on the apartment has been delayed and we will not be able to move in
until the 25th. There is a slim chance however, that the leasing
agent will be able to get us in before that. Please pray to that end
so we will not incur storage costs for our stuff from the moving company.
Bryan has his
first day in the office on the 20th. Please keep checking back soon
for updates on this new chapter in our lives. We would like to thank
all who have been so diligently praying for us during this time.
